Boys Basketball: Levin led Huskies storm past LT
BOYS BASKETBALL: Gabe Levin likes to show up early for games. He showed up early and often Saturday, scoring 19 points to lead Oak Park-River Forest to a 58-35 victory against Lyons Township in a West Suburban Silver contest. The victory avenged a 65-53 loss to the Lions on January 13th and kept the Huskies in first place in the conference.

Boys Basketball: Turner’s clutch free throws leads St. Joe’s to big win over Notre Dame
BOYS BASKETBALL: St. Joseph used an 11-0 run toward the end of the third quarter to build a slim lead Saturday night against Notre Dame, and then the Chargers sealed the game from the free-throw line in the final period. Paul Turner hit all eight of his attempts from the charity-stripe, including six in the fourth quarter, and St. Joseph claimed a 66-60 nonconference victory in Niles.
Kurfirst, Lions finish first at sectional
GIRLS GYMNASTICS: Led by freshman all-arounder champion Kelsy Kurfirst, Lyons won the Hinsdale Central Sectional Monday night to advance to the state meet.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Marist guard L.J. McIntosh was all over the floor against Nazareth, hitting jump shots, creating off the dribble and being an all-around terror on the floor.
