Western Springs police blotter for Sept. 4

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Western Springs

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Someone entered an unlocked garage on the 4500 block of Wolf Road and used spray paint on two vehicles parked inside the garage between 6 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

An undetermined sharp instrument was used to scratch a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 4500 block of Lawn Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

THEFT

Agata Pogorzelski, 36, of 366 N. Edgewood Ave., Wood Dale, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Aug. 31 in Western Springs and charged with credit card fraud and theft following an investigation into an incident in April.

Someone stole a bike left in some bushes at Ridge Acres Park, on the 4600 block of Harvey Avenue between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31. The loss is estimated at $150.
Indian Head Park

MOVING VIOLATION

Nicole Schultz, 31, of 17402 Brook Crossing Lane, Orland Park, was charged with unlawful use of a drivers license and driving with a suspended license, after an officer stopped her for speeding at about 3:10 a.m. Aug. 30. The officer reported Schultz was going 79 mph as she drove north on the Stevenson Expressway at Joliet Road, where the speed limit is 55 mph. Her court date is Oct. 19. ~.
