Western Springs police blotter for June 4

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Western Springs

Deputy Police Chief Brian Budds reported that for the first time in five years, no arrests or criminal incidents were reported in the week ending Monday.

Indian Head Park

MOVING VIOLATION

David Gourley, 30, of 1024 Seymour Ave., Des Plaines, was cited at 8:55 a.m. Friday for driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and having tinted windows during a stop on the 6800 block of Joliet Road.

THEFT

Jewelry valued at $30,000 was reported stolen at 4:25 p.m. Friday from a home on the 6500 block of Shabbona Road. The owner was away May 27-31 when the theft is believed to have occurred.
