Indian Head Park still unsure on Chamber

INDIAN HEAD PARK — Village trustees postponed a decision on whether to rejoin the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
“We were a member of this before and opted not to continue membership because we didn’t think we got a lot of return on our investment,” said Trustee Matthew Walsh. “We didn’t seek them out, but they came and gave a presentation for the board at the previous meeting.”
Trustee Debbie Anselmo said this was one of the types of items the village had opted to cut to save money.
The board will reconsider the issue after the election.
The Chamber represents several area communities, including Western Springs and La Grange.
