Vandals strike lights in Forest Hills area of Western Springs

Vandals damaged decorative lamp posts early on July 4 in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Western Springs.
Someone damaged lighting in the front yards of three homes on the 4700 block of Air Elms Avenue and the 5100 and 5500 blocks of Lawn Avenue, said Deputy Police Chief Brian Budds.
“We have no suspects at this time and the estimated damage ranged from $15 to $200, according to the victims’ estimates,” Budds said.
Police believe the three incidents are related and committed by the same person or person, he said.
