Company completes project
Krusinski Construction Company completed the installation of a new sterilization chamber for Sterigenics in Willowbrook. Sterigenics is the world’s leading provider of contract sterilization services for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
The chamber weight is 125,000 pounds and the length is 52-feet. It took a team of eight experienced riggers, a 350-ton crane and four hours to move the chamber into place in the warehouse, which included crossing a depressed truck dock. In addition to the chamber installation, the team remodeled the chiller room to accommodate the new equipment.
