St. John of the Cross School celebrated Catholic Schools Week in a big way, with special activities each day capped off by Spirit Day on Friday.
Faith, Academics, Service was this year’s theme for the week, which began with special Masses on Jan. 29. Student began the week with an all-school liturgy Jan. 30.
Activities during the week included a sixth-grade puppet show, an open house, a faculty lunch sponsored by the Parent Association and a celebration of 100 days for first-graders.
Invention Convention provided an opportunity for eighth-grade students to present their projects. The Invention Convention incorporates science, language arts, business and speaking skills and lessons. Spirit Day.
The Spirit Day assembly included student cheers and special projects.
