Winter Bash and Boogie

The Greater La Grange YMCA will host a Winter Bash and Boogie Jan. 21, 8 p.m.-1 a.m., at the Village Club of Western Springs, 4221 Lawn Ave., Western Springs. The event includes an open bar, plenty of pizza, music from Soda and a night of dancing. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds benefit the Greater La Grange YMCA Annual Fund, which provides scholarships and helps fund summer camp for kids. Wine Dinner Delizioso

Hinsdale Center for the Arts will hold its benefit, Wine Dinner Delizioso, Jan. 22 beginning with cocktails and entertainment at 5 p.m., and dinner and a wine auction from 6-8:30 p.m. at Il Poggiolo Ristorante, 8 E. Pillars Ball

The annual Pillars Ball, Glitter Glamour Generosity, will be held Jan. 28 at the Westin Hotel, 70 Yorktown Shopping Center, Lombard, 6 p.m.-midnight. The evening will include dinner, dancing, casino style gaming as well as live and silent auctions, a raffle and a wine table. Meals on Wheels

The DuPage Senior Citizens Council, the Meals on Wheels provider for DuPage County, is seeking volunteers to deliver meals to frail and homebound senior citizens. In addition to drivers, kitchen volunteers are also needed. Experience is not necessary; training is provided. Tablescapes

The Hinsdale Auxiliary Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago will host their annual Tablescapes benefit on Feb. 11 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Oak Brook Marriott Hills Resort, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook. This year’s theme is Chicago, Our Kind of Town and the eight member-designed tables will reflect Chicago neighborhoods and landmarks. The afternoon will also include a champagne brunch, coffee and dessert, silent auction, distinctive vendors and performances by an Irish dancing troupe and local musicians. Top Hat Ball

Marklund will celebrate its 16th annual Top Hat Ball on Feb. 11 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Marriott Chicago Downtown. The black tie event, An Evening in Paris, includes dinner, an auction, dancing and music, all with a French flair.
