WESTERN SPRINGS — It wasn’t necessarily a scary time at the Recreation Center.
People turned out for the Halloween Hoopla held Monday night by the Western Springs Recreation Department.
But rather than vampires, beasts or other monsters, the costumes for the youngest of celebrants focused more on Muppets and story book characters.
The annual event included a magic show, games and plenty of photo opportunities.
